Communication: The Holy Grail of Business Outsourcing.
The only reason behind technological advancement and globalization of today's world is communication. Imagine a world without communication, no interaction, no exchange of ideas or values and no knowledge sharing. We would have perished before even our evolution. Communication can be defined as the process of understanding and sharing meaning through a medium, be it verbal, non verbal or any technological mode. And when communication is more than just sharing, i.e. effective then it serves the purpose of change, to generate action, to create understanding, to inform or communicate a certain idea or point of view. Communication in outsourcing business is of great value both for the vendor and the client. And an effective Business Communication leads to community, that is, to understanding, intimacy and mutual valuing. If you could not communicate, what would life be like? a series of never-ending frustrations? Not being able to ask for what you need or even to understand the needs of others?
"I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant." ---Robert J. McCloskey, former State Department spokesman
Outsourcing specialist knowledge work can enable business excellence by enhancing business competitiveness, economic value added service, quality, and market branding. Much of this may be supported by seamless technical communication flows between the vendors and clients. Developing an information communication platform which promotes a secure knowledge exchange culture in an environment conducive to trust is fundamental to mitigate the potential loss of knowledge, information, understanding and business. An effective communication results in the improvement of ability to communicate in business, opening more doors than anticipated and satisfaction for both Clients and vendors.
